Welcome to my website.

I am a painter, sculptor and advocate of the arts. I own the Showcase Art Center which was started 17 years ago as a space to show art, encourage others and provide for the needs of a creative community.

The Showcase is open M-F 10-6 and Saturdays 10-3.

Here are a few things you can do at the Showcase Art Center:

Buy art. There is gallery space throughout the building and it is the exclusive representation of Colette Pitcher, author of Watercolor and Acrylic Painting for Dummies, Wiley Publishing. Colette also makes bronze sculpture and displays pieces at the gallery with her paintings. Commissions are welcomed.

Make art - we offer classes and art supplies at discount prices. We also have a custom frame shop to present your art in it's best light with conservation materials. Products have improved in recent years with acid-free offerings and glass that prohibits ultra-violet light from fading your art. It may be time to upgrade if you want your art to last another generation. There is also a bargain basement of frame deals if you are on a budget. There are artist studios and you may see an artist at work when you visit. There are piano lessons with Lesli Anderson(834-1635), kids' art classes with May Yipp(405-6900), and the Greeley Art Association meets here monthly.

Become a work of art through "Accessories with a Flair. . .and Hair!" (351-6448) . Owner Linda Winter offers dazzeling clothing, jewelry, a hair salon, skin care and wellness products will put you at your best. Robin Sweeton from "Robin's Nest" (576-6359) alterations will tailor your outfit or fix an existing one.
